what oil filter fits my 96 eclipse gs?
the section of the book at my auto parts store told me to get the VIN and refer to that section of the front to determin which one fits my car, but it was ripped out. i bought the fram high mileage filter, code HM16. does it fit?
Fram filters cause lifter noise on Mitsubishi’s. The factory filters also have a check valve in them. I’d highly recommend buying the stock filters from a dealer parts department.
