Is this an air intake for cooling or hurt the gas mileage?
I just got a 2007 Dodge Charger 3.5 SE with 6-cylinder engine. The Internet is getting 25 mpg on the highway and do not think I mean. All I can think of is that the car had a fresh air intake and a set of teachers Dual flow to put in him by the previous owner. I put 115 miles on the car, and I and a quarter tank. I do not think I want to say what the ratings promised. So if someone could help me with my question, or if anyone know of some mod to my car could do to help my fuel consumption. I really appreciated.
Nothing you can connect or add that will change the fuel consumption. Keep the air and fuel filters clean fuel use good quality fuel injection it cleaner like Chevron Techron. adjust the air pressure adequate and appropriate to clean the oil on the tires are the best things to do. These air inlets cold, and pooper scooper dooper Super chips are a bunch of crap. Often, they mess with the engine computer and lights pop, this is not good. Other than above maintenance routine of things, there is very little available to improve the mileage a little more secure footing.
